A modern perspective on historic lodging in the heart of downtown Yellow Springs, the Mills Park Hotel offers gracious hospitality and luxurious accommodations that blend the comforts of home with upscale state-of-the-art amenities. Our stately suites and spacious rooms provide a relaxing haven with an exceptional attention to detail. Plantation shutters. Oak floors. Hand-laid tile. Amish-made pillow-top mattresses. At the Mills Park Hotel, we pride ourselves on pairing classic design with modern influences.
The 28-room hotel is modeled after the 19th-century home of William Mills, a local settler who is also the namesake of Mills Lawn Elementary School. Mills first financed the railroad through Yellow Springs and helped to build the town’s infrastructure. Mills’ home, which stood on the site of the school, was a three-story Victorian. While the Hotel isn’t an exact replica, it imitates the mid-to-late-1800s style of the house.
Standing three stories tall, the Hotel is 24,000 square feet with a restaurant, gift shop, banquet hall, conference room, and fitness room – all of which support the capacity for Yellow Springs to host large groups of visitors, conferences and weddings. The site also includes 81 parking spots and bike racks. The close proximity to town puts the Hotel within walking distance to shops, arts venues, educational events and Glen Helen.
If traveling with your pet, please make boarding arrangements prior to arrival.
Mills Park Hotel is also a smoke-free facility and does not allow smoking inside the hotel, on balcony or front porch areas.
